I have started to collect gene expression data as part of my ongoing work toward preparing a manuscript.
Single-cell analysis requires substantial resources per experiment, so I have not been able to perform this type of experiment frequently until now.
However, I am working toward preparing a manuscript as part of my degree requirements.
At the same time, I continue to explore optimal culture conditions for germ cell differentiation. One of the ongoing challenges is that results can vary considerably even under seemingly identical conditions. Some samples show promising outcomes, while others do not, appearing to occur randomly.
This suggests that the current culture condition may require further refinement. I am exploring several approaches to address this issue, though I do not have conclusive results at this time.
As a first step, I am working to evaluate the current status of germ cell differentiation objectively under the existing conditions, and then aim to identify potential differences in gene expression between in vitro and in vivo contexts.
